World Peace “Lennon Ivan Style” – Part 208: As a continuation from my last blog whereby I believe the root of “World Peace” is centered on peace in the Middle East with the first step being negotiated peace between Israel and the Palestinians, I would like to remain objective and independent in my views such that I would like to today bring Iraq into my views as they seem to be the closest at this time to a full fledge civil war of rage like wild animals stuck together in a cage. However, it is important to note that Israel and Palestine seem to be awakening from their hatred induced coma state with the potential for peace negotiations to be resumed in the near future in the United States, while Egypt continues to operate in supremacy domination mode whereby the minority Christian military continues to hold on to power while the Muslim majority is fuming at the seams hoping to awaken from this horrible dream. As for the Syrians, both sides are still in anger induced coma state for the mentally insane such that millions of Syrians continue to suffer each and every day. In terms of the Russians and Ukrainians, they seem to have entered into a political war game whereby neither party wishes to concede but rather seems to prefer to enter into a civil war and commit dirty deeds. While Israelis, Palestinians, Egyptians, Syrians, Russians and Ukrainians continue along their respective paths toward enlightenment, it is now time for the Iraqis to be enlightened as to the path of quelling their current tensions before any more civil war breaks out which bears the risk of leading to a third and final world war on this earth, after which, there will be no place for anyone left to run. In summary, Observers around the world are stunned by the speed and scope of assaults on every major city in the upper Tigris River Valley, including Mosul, Iraq’s second-largest city, by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS. However, as the ISIS rebels extend their reach across Iraq, the U.S. Air Force was forced to intervene in order to prevent Genocide while Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki relinquished power opening a new political chapter that U.S. officials hope will move Iraq toward a more unified front against Islamic jihadists currently running wild and literally beheading “Infidels” like pigs without shedding a tear as blood spills out of their victims giving everybody creepy chills. During the week ending on Sunday, August 21, 2016, TURKEY retreated from their aggressive siege of CIZRE, SILOPI, DIYARBAKIR and NUSAYBIN, predominantly KURDISH, which TURKEY had converted into a suburban war zone area as TURKEY was on the defense as they were subject to an internal military “Coup D’État” that failed as gunfire and explosions erupted in which 265 people died, 161 of them civilians, over two weeks ago. As a result of the failed “Coup D’État”, Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared a state of emergency, extended the period during which suspects can be detained without charge to 30 days, closed more than 1,000 private schools and closed more than 1,200 associations. Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan continued cleaning house again this week as more than 40,000 people have now been detained and over 20,000 arrested since the coup attempt on July 15. Although many of them have been released, over 5,000 still remain in custody. In addition, over 80,000 civil servants have been suspended from their duties while over 5,000 have been dismissed. All Parties have been accused of having links to Pennsylvania based TURKSIH cleric Fetullah Gulen who the TURKISH government claims masterminded the coup attempt although Fetullah Gulen has denied any involvement. Moving on to IRAQ, the oil infrastructure of ISIS on which ISIS depends for its survival took another strike as U.S. led ALLIANCE forces struck a convoy of ISIS tankers in the province of NINEVEH where all 25 tankers were destroyed and 12 ISIS soldiers were killed. This strike is another successful demonstration of ISIS defenses crumbling fast with an offensive for the city of MOSUL, ISIS’s last major stronghold in Iraq, likely to occur by the end of the current year. In summary, if the battle goes well, the defeat of ISIS’s self-proclaimed caliphate in Iraq, at least in terms of the territory it controls, is on the horizon. Moving on to SYRIA, two American F-22 fighter jets on patrol over HASAKAH flew within a mile of two Syrian SU-24 fighter jets and encouraged the Syrian Air Force to leave. This is another close encounter that comes amid Syrian warplanes attacking Kurdish positions in the surrounding areas. The Kurdish forces that are key US allies were forced to withdraw from their positions as a result of the Syrian Air Force bombing campaign. In my opinion, Turkey’s participation in the military battle against ISIS is a positive addition to the ALLIANCE albeit Turkey’s negative stance against the PKK which in my opinion is currently unwarranted and deteriorating. However, with the recent majority victory by the governing AKP and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, it appears that Turkey’s future is heading for more war and bloodshed. Unfortunately, the governing AKP and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan have chosen the path of war with the PKK as opposed to diplomacy via the KURDISH HDP political party which secured close to 11% during recent Turkish elections. Therefore, in my opinion, the governing AKP and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will learn the hard way that nobody on the outside world looking in is stupid but rather everyone chooses to close their eyes and allow Turkey to continue with its ethnic cleansing campaign of the KURDS in exchange for Turkey signing a deal with the European Union (EU) to stem the flow of refugees arriving in Greece. In exchange for reducing human trafficking and improving living conditions for 2.5 million refugees within its borders, Turkey will receive Euro 3 billion in financial aid in return, the possibility of visa-free travel for its citizens, and a reopening of EU membership talks. In my opinion, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the governing AKP will learn the hard way that the current failed “Coup D’État” exposes the deep discontent within the TURKISH military ranks as the governing AKP and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan persist with their quest to annihilate the HDP and the KURDS as the AKP is converting itself into a majority fascist regime with its house cleaning exercises of the current week whereby virtually all dissidents have been fired. In my opinion, the current “Witch Hunt” underway in TURKEY has all the characteristics of an ethnic cleansing campaign whereby either you are a member of the AKP or you are considered to be an outlaw. Furthermore, the current “Witch Hunt” in TURKEY has all the characteristics of a Fascist regime whereby you either swear allegiance to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan or you are considered to be a traitor who deserves capital punishment. Therefore, in my opinion, the root of the underlying unrest in TURKEY has its origins in the iron clad fist rule of the governing AKP and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan whereby no opposition is acceptable and no dissidents are tolerated. Unfortunately, the governing AKP and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan fail to realize that the tighter they squeeze the screws, the more anger and resentment that is brewed leading to a climax of anger induced explosions of rebels with nothing more to loose. Moving on to Iraq, following the recapture of FALLUJAH last month, Iraqi forces have now gained the momentum with recent successful strikes on a convoy of ISIS tankers in the province of NINEVEH whereby all 25 tankers were destroyed and 12 ISIS soldiers were killed. As a friendly reminder, ISIS used to earn over $30 million monthly from its oil businesses that has perpetually diminished over time, due to successful ALLIANCE strikes, to around $15 million a month. The key point to note is that ISIS oil revenues in IRAQ have been cut by almost 90% due to successful attacks of oil targets by IRAQI forces. Therefore, ISIS now finds itself on the defense as IRAQI forces are planning operations aimed at a full fledge ground assault on MOSUL which has been held by ISIS since June of 2014. In my opinion, ISIS is still a force to be reckoned with such that the looming battle for MOSUL will be the bloodiest, deadliest and wildest yet in IRAQ. However, assuming that the KURDISH peshmerga, IRAQI army, SHIITE militia and some SUNNI militia forces continue to overlook their differences and stick together, ISIS will inevitably be decimated in IRAQ. Moving on to Syria, the close encounter between two American F-22 fighter jets that flew within a mile of two Syrian SU-24 fighter jets is a clear indication that tensions are running at an all time high as those factions opposing Syrian President, Bashar al-Assad feel the effects of Bashar al-Assad forces willing to do whatever it takes to retain control. However, in my opinion, it is the situation in ALEPPO that is most disgusting, despicable, disturbing and demented. That is, the Syrian government and Russian forces continuance to pound the FSA rebels without relent while the rebels refuse to surrender and manage to withstand the onslaught while seeking spiral revenge, has created a formula for disaster as ALEPPO is on the verge of being completely leveled. In my opinion, the next time the Syrian Air Force strikes innocent civilians in the ALEPPO area, there needs to be a retributory strike by the ALLIANCE to bring down the Syrian fighter jet responsible as the Syrian Air Force has crossed the line in ALEPPO and thus needs to be held accountable for their actions. Althoguh the current conflict in SYRIA between forces loyal to Syrian Bashar al-Assad and the Free Syrian Army (FSA) works in favor of ISIS, the ALLIANCE cannot turn a blind eye on the atrocities committed in ALEPPO by the existing Syrian regime such that if the Syrian Air Force continues to strike innocent civilians in ALEPPO, the ones behind the guns must be brought to justice by crashing to the ground on their bum bums. In summary, I refer to “World Peace Lennon Ivan Style – Part 208” as the belief that although ISIS gains by strikes between President Bashar al-Assad and rebel FSA, ones behind the guns of innocent civilians in ALEPPO must be brought to justice by crashing to the ground on their bum bums.
