World Peace “Lennon Ivan Style” – Part 222

World Peace “Lennon Ivan Style” – Part 222

As a continuation from my last blog whereby I believe the root of “World Peace” is centered on peace in the Middle East with the first step being negotiated peace between Israel and the Palestinians, I would like to remain objective and independent in my views such that I would like to today bring Iraq into my views as they seem to be the closest at this time to a full fledge civil war of rage like wild animals stuck together in a cage. However, it is important to note that Israel and Palestine seem to be awakening from their hatred induced coma state with the potential for peace negotiations to be resumed in the near future in the United States, while Egypt continues to operate in supremacy domination mode whereby the minority Christian military continues to hold on to power while the Muslim majority is fuming at the seams hoping to awaken from this horrible dream. As for the Syrians, both sides are still in anger induced coma state for the mentally insane such that millions of Syrians continue to suffer each and every day. In terms of the Russians and Ukrainians, they seem to have entered into a political war game whereby neither party wishes to concede but rather seems to prefer to enter into a civil war and commit dirty deeds. While Israelis, Palestinians, Egyptians, Syrians, Russians and Ukrainians continue along their respective paths toward enlightenment, it is now time for the Iraqis to be enlightened as to the path of quelling their current tensions before any more civil war breaks out which bears the risk of leading to a third and final world war on this earth, after which, there will be no place for anyone left to run. In summary, Observers around the world are stunned by the speed and scope of assaults on every major city in the upper Tigris River Valley, including Mosul, Iraq’s second-largest city, by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS. However, as the ISIS rebels extend their reach across Iraq, the U.S. Air Force was forced to intervene in order to prevent Genocide while Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki relinquished power opening a new political chapter that U.S. officials hope will move Iraq toward a more unified front against Islamic jihadists currently running wild and literally beheading “Infidels” like pigs without shedding a tear as blood spills out of their victims giving everybody creepy chills.

During the week ending on Sunday, November 27, 2016, TURKEY retreated from their aggressive siege of CIZRE, SILOPI, DIYARBAKIR and NUSAYBIN, predominantly KURDISH, which TURKEY had converted into a suburban war zone area as TURKEY was on the defense as they were subject to an internal military “Coup D’État” that failed as gunfire and explosions erupted in which 265 people died, 161 of them civilians, over one month ago. As a result of the failed “Coup D’État”, Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared a state of emergency, extended the period during which suspects can be detained without charge to 30 days, closed more than 1,000 private schools and closed more than 1,200 associations. Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan continued cleaning house again this week after nearly three months since the failed “Coup D’État” for which officials continue to blame the disciples of TURKISH cleric Fethullah Gulen.  A wide scale purge led by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his governing AKP escalated further this week under the disguise of emergency rule as President Recep Tayyip Erdogan continued his purge while the European parliament finally developed the backbone to urge governments in the EU to freeze EU membership talks with TURKEY in a powerful symbolic vote that will heighten tensions and that could endanger the landmark migration deal. The European parliamentarians voted by 471 to 37 to halt TURKEY’s EU accession talks, with 107 abstentions, while the majority of politicians backed a resolution condemning the TURKISH government’s disproportionate repressive measures after the failed “Coup D’État” in July. The TURKISH prime minister, BINALI YILDIRIM, dismissed the vote as being of no importance but warned that ties with the EU that were already strained have worsened such that the EU should decide whether it wants to continue its future vision with or without TURKEY who remained defiant.

Moving on to IRAQ, IRAQI and US-led ALLIANCE forces continued with their offensive against ISIS on MOSUL. However, ISIS has sent the message to the world that it will do whatever it takes to defend MOSUL as ISIS has chosen the usage of its own people as human shields. Unfortunately, this week, ISIS carried out a vicious attack as some 77 people, most of them SHIA pilgrims from IRAN and AFGHANISTAN were killed and over 40 people wounded in a truck bomb attack. The blast struck at a gas station and restaurant near HILLA, around 100 k.m. (60 miles) south of BAGHDAD where busloads of pilgrims had stopped on their way home from commemorating ARBAEEN, in the holy city of KARBALA. The victims were on board four buses filling up with fuel at the road stop near the village of SHOMALI, around 80 km (50 miles) southeast of KARBALA, when a parked truck loaded with ammonia nitrate and other explosive materials including fuel was detonated causing massive damage. On a positive note, ISIS militants have been steadily retreating from areas around MOSUL into the city center since the battle first commenced on October 17 with a slow but steady advance by the ALLIANCE due to the usage of civilians as shields by ISIS. Unfortunately, the battle for MOSUL has seen civilians paying a growing price with more and more dead bodies flowing out of the dense urban combat zones each day. For now, most of the civilians killed have been casualties of ISIS artillery and snipers but the rising civilian death toll has slowed down the fight to a crawl as IRAQI forces are unable to make substantial progress while protecting civilians at the same time. The IRAQI government is considering a mass evacuation but even that might make civilians more vulnerable if the IRAQI military were to change its tactics and introduce new weapons that may be more effective against ISIS fighters, such as heavy artillery and tanks, while at the same time putting civilians in even greater danger. Thus far, IRAQI, KURDISH and ALLIED forces advances have been impressive on their push to retake MOSUL, ISIS's de facto capital in IRAQ where as many as 1.5 million people are believed to still remain. However, there are fears ISIS could use them to defend itself, as the operation gets closer to the centre of the city. Unfortunately, ISIS is still a force to be reckoned with, due to its significant wealth amassed in safe havens abroad, such that although the battle for MOSUL will likely lead to the end of the ISIS era in IRAQ, the ISIS wealth abroad will likely lead to ISIS taking the fight to the streets on foreign soil which will necessitate heightened security measures until kingdom come.

Moving on to SYRIA, the SYRIAN army had initially intensified attacks on ALEPPO as RUSSIA defied global pressure over the escalation of violence that has crushed diplomacy, as the bombing of the city of ALEPPO has been described by most as “Barbarous”. Subsequently, Free Syrian Army (FSA) held areas of ALEPPO saw the FSA in SYRIA announcing a big offensive aimed at breaking the government siege of east ALEPPO whereby the FSA fired hundreds of missiles killing at least 15 civilians. The Syrian FSA initiated their push to break the ALEPPO siege whereby about 275,000 people have been besieged in the east of the city for months. Then, RUSSIAN President, VLADIMIR PUTIN warned the Free Syrian Army (FSA) rebels and civilians trapped in eastern ALEPPO to leave the city when a temporary moratorium on air strikes expired. Then, President elect Donald Trump reaffirmed his campaign trail position that assisting the SYRIAN government in fighting ISIS should be the US main objective in SYRIA despite appeals from the Free Syrian Army (FSA) rebels for continued help in their fight against President Bashar al-Assad. Now, Donald Trump’s eldest son, emerging as a potential special envoy for the president-elect, held private discussions with diplomats, businessmen and politicians in Paris that focused in part on finding a way to cooperate with Russia to end the war in Syria. Thirty people, including DONALD TRUMP JR. attended the meeting hosted by a FRENCH think tank that has worked closely with RUSSIA to try to end the conflict. Ms. Kassis, co-founder of the think tank, who was born in SYRIA, is a leader of a SYRIAN group endorsed by RUSSIA that wants a political transition in SYRIA but in cooperation with President Bashar al-Assad, Russia’s close ally. As a friendly reminder, since the Syrian army’s assault against rebel held ALEPPO began in late September, RUSSIAN and SYRIAN government bombardments have killed more than 500 people, including over 100 children while injuring over 3,000.

In my opinion, Turkey’s participation in the military battle against ISIS is a positive addition to the ALLIANCE albeit Turkey’s negative stance against the PKK which in my opinion is currently unwarranted and deteriorating. However, with the recent majority victory by the governing AKP and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, it appears that Turkey’s future is heading for more war and bloodshed. Unfortunately, the governing AKP and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan have chosen the path of war with the PKK as opposed to diplomacy via the KURDISH HDP political party which secured close to 11% during recent Turkish elections. Therefore, in my opinion, the governing AKP and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will learn the hard way that nobody on the outside world looking in is stupid but rather everyone chooses to close their eyes and allow Turkey to continue with its ethnic cleansing campaign of the KURDS in exchange for Turkey signing a deal with the European Union (EU) to stem the flow of refugees arriving in Greece. In exchange for reducing human trafficking and improving living conditions for 2.5 million refugees within its borders, Turkey will receive Euro 3 billion in financial aid in return, the possibility of visa-free travel for its citizens, and a reopening of EU membership talks. In my opinion, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the governing AKP will learn the hard way that the current failed “Coup D’État” exposes the deep discontent within the TURKISH military ranks as the governing AKP and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan persist with their quest to annihilate the HDP and the KURDS as the AKP is converting itself into a majority fascist regime with its house cleaning exercises whereby virtually all dissidents have been fired. In my opinion, the recent European parliament vote to halt TURKEY’s EU accession backed by a resolution condemning the TURKISH government’s disproportionate repressive measures after the failed “Coup D’État” in July was long overdue as TURKEY has demonstrated beyond a shadow of a doubt, with its repressive measures over all opposition, that TURKEY does not share common values, morals, principals, ethics and views as the EU such that TURKEY does not fit into the EU mould. However, in my opinion, TURKEY still represents a major player on the European economic stage such that the EU will nonetheless have to negotiate deals with TURKEY as an independent NON-EU member country regarding the huge refugee crisis. In my opinion, in exchange for reducing human trafficking and improving living conditions for 2.5 million refugees within its borders, TURKEY should only receive Euro 1.5 billion, half of the initial proposed 3 billion, in financial aid along with visa-free travel for its citizens who do not pose any significant risks outside of TURKISH borders. However, in my opinion, all talks with TURKEY regarding future ascension into the EU should be suspended indefinitely pending TURKEY’s conformance with EU civil rights and liberties including the protection of all minorities rights including the freedom of expression and the rights to promote ones divergent views within the parameters of democratic principals.

Moving on to IRAQ, the recent successful attacks on ISIS by IRAQI security forces in MOSUL, has clearly sent the message to ISIS that it is just a matter of time until the ISIS Empire in MOSUL dies. However, the recent vicious truck bombs attack carried out by ISIS as some 77 people, most of them SHIA pilgrims from IRAN and AFGHANISTAN were killed and over 40 people wounded in a attack demonstrates the sheer ferocity of the ISIS fighters. Therefore, the IRAQI led troops on the ground are essentially forced to fight ISIS style, which is slow and brutal for any other type of heavy artillery attack on ISIS, will result in significant collateral damage in terms of human casualties. Unfortunately ISIS has managed to set new rules of war, with complete and utter disregard for the laws of war as promulgated by the GENEVA convention, which is essentially that there are no rules other than the dirtiest player in the game wins. Thus, the world finds itself going backwards to the days of Barbarian, Neanderthal, Self-Centered, Egotistical, Narcissistic, Masochistic, Sadistic, Idiosyncratic, Sociopathic and Psychopathic maniacs. Nonetheless, in my opinion, ISIS militants have been steadily retreating from areas around MOSUL into the city center, since the battle first commenced on October 17, with a slow but steady advance by the ALLIANCE due to the usage of civilians as shields by ISIS. Therefore, the IRAQI elite Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS) units has been adequately trained to take on ISIS street fighters at their own game that is an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth and a heart for a heart. In my opinion, assuming that the KURDISH peshmerga, IRAQI army, SHIITE militia and some SUNNI militia forces continue to overlook their differences and stick together, ISIS will inevitably be decimated in IRAQ, although ISIS will likely survive as an incognito terrorist organization throughout the world. However, ISIS will resort to any and all measures necessary to preserve, protect and promote its empire including the usage of its own people as human shields. Therefore, the US-led ALLIANCE needs to be on heightened security alerts world wide as ISIS will look to find any and all possible retributory strikes, the most savage and barbarian possible, in an attempt to save face from a humiliating defeat of its MOSUL base.

Moving on to SYRIA, the latest news that Donald Trump’s eldest son, emerging as a potential special envoy for the president-elect, held private discussions with diplomats, businessmen and politicians in Paris, as part of a think tank meeting, that focused in part on finding a way to cooperate with Russia to end the war in Syria, is a positive development as the war in SYRIA will never end unless the U.S. works together with RUSSIA to negotiate a ceasefire followed by some sort of power sharing arrangement. In my opinion, Ms. Kassis, co-founder of the think tank, who was born in SYRIA, and who is currently leader of a SYRIAN group, endorsed by RUSSIA, that wants a political transition in SYRIA but in cooperation with President Bashar al-Assad, Russia’s close ally, are pursuing the only viable alternative currently available as the reality of the current situation on the ground is that with the backing of RUSSIA, President Bashar al-Assad cannot be overthrown by military force. In my opinion, it is still in everyone’s best interests to recognize RUSSIA’s great military power beyond its region and to pressure RUSSIA to negotiate a ceasefire followed by some sort of power sharing arrangement with President Bashar al-Assad which is the only sustainable long-term solution for ALEPPO. In my opinion, the scars of ALEPPO run too deep for any side to secede to defeat such that both sides will likely fight until there is nothing and nobody left in ALEPPO other than a bloody mess. Therefore, in my opinion, the current situation in ALEPPO is deplorable as innocent civilians are living in a literal hell on earth as the entire city is covered in blood with diminishing food, necessities and basic supplies while innocent civilians continue to die. Ultimately, it is because of this battle for ALEPPO that ISIS is able to survive, as ASSAD cannot be displaced as long as RUSSIA is behind the SYRIAN military face while the U.S. is dreaming if they still believe that the FSA race to overthrow ASSAD in disgrace stands a chance amid the looming new SYRIAN think tank power sharing case.

In summary, I refer to “World Peace Lennon Ivan Style – Part 222” as the belief that ISIS is evil such that the MOSUL victory is critical to ISIS decimation but ASSAD cannot be displaced as long as RUSSIA is behind the SYRIAN military face while the U.S. is dreaming if they still believe in the FSA race to overthrow ASSAD in disgrace.

World Peace “Lennon Ivan Style” – Part 221

World Peace “Lennon Ivan Style” – Part 221

As a continuation from my last blog whereby I believe the root of “World Peace” is centered on peace in the Middle East with the first step being negotiated peace between Israel and the Palestinians, I would like to remain objective and independent in my views such that I would like to today bring Iraq into my views as they seem to be the closest at this time to a full fledge civil war of rage like wild animals stuck together in a cage. During the week ending on Sunday, November 20, 2016, TURKEY retreated from their aggressive siege of CIZRE, SILOPI, DIYARBAKIR and NUSAYBIN, predominantly KURDISH, which TURKEY had converted into a suburban war zone area as TURKEY was on the defense as they were subject to an internal military “Coup D’État” that failed as gunfire and explosions erupted in which 265 people died, 161 of them civilians, over one month ago. Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan continued cleaning house again this week after nearly three months since the failed “Coup D’État” for which officials continue to blame the disciples of TURKISH cleric Fethullah Gulen.  A wide scale purge led by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his governing AKP escalated further this week under the disguise of emergency rule as President Recep Tayyip Erdogan continued his purge as a number of TURKISH officers posted to NATO have sought asylum since the country’s failed “Coup D’État” in July. The officers requested asylum in the countries where they are posted such that the countries involved will consider the cases individually. Give that Turkey has dismissed, suspended, detained or arrested tens of thousands of people since the failed “Coup D’État” in the military, teachers, policemen, judges and journalists, it is probable that those seeking asylum will have just cause to receive amnesty in their respective countries of stationment. In another sign of devolution, Turkish MP’s preliminarily backed a Bill that would allow men accused of raping underage girls to be cleared if they marry the girl. The bill would pardon men only if they had sex without “force or threat” and if they married the victim. Critics say this Bill legitimises rape and child marriage, and lets men off who are aware of their crime while violence against women in TURKEY has increased in the past decade whereby 40% of women report sexual or physical abuse.

However, this week, Iraqi Special Forces pushed deeper into MOSUL, despite heavy resistance from ISIS fighters who continued to use civilians as cover, as U.S. backed IRAQI troops expanded their foothold on the eastern side of ISIS’s stronghold of MOSUL while ISIS pledged to mount even more suicide attacks in the future to defend their territory. The IRAQI elite Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS) stormed the TAHRIR district on the northeastern edge of MOSUL, the last major city in the northeast under control of ISIS in Iraq. ISIS militants have been steadily retreating from areas around MOSUL into the city center since the battle first commenced on October 17 with a slow but steady advance by the ALLIANCE due to the usage of civilians as shields by ISIS. Thus far, IRAQI, KURDISH and ALLIED forces advances have been impressive on their push to retake MOSUL, ISIS's de facto capital in IRAQ where as many as 1.5 million people are believed to still remain. Now, an air strike has hit a children's hospital in Syria's eastern ALEPPO, forcing its medical staff to evacuate their patients, including several newborn babies still in incubators. The onslaught began early in the week as SYRIA’s ally RUSSIA announced its own offensive on the northern rebel controlled IDLIB province and HOMS province in central SYRIA. Since then, more than 100 people have been killed across northern SYRIA and another hospital in a different ALEPPO neighbourhood was also bombed such that only four of seven hospitals are still operating in the district.

In my opinion, the recent request for asylum by a number of TURKISH officers posted to NATO since the country’s failed “Coup D’État” is not surprising as the governing AKP and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan have laid down the new law of “guilty until proven innocent” and “incarceration until justified liberation” such that no military serviceman in their right mind would choose to return to TURKEY if there is so much as a “shadow of a doubt” of their participation in the failed “Coup D’État”. In regards to Turkish MP’s preliminarily backing of a Bill that would allow men accused of raping underage girls to be cleared if they marry the girl, another self evident example of TURKEY’s utilization of the justice system to the benefit of the majority rule at the expense of the minority mules. In my opinion, there is no sugar coating in the world that can justify the reality of the underlying situation that is female childhood rape regardless of the TURKISH majority red tape.

Moving on to IRAQ, the recent successful attacks on ISIS by IRAQI security forces in MOSUL, has clearly sent the message to ISIS that it is just a matter of time until the ISIS Empire in MOSUL dies. In regards to the IRAQI elite Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS) storming the TAHRIR district on the north-eastern edge of MOSUL, the last major city in the northeast under control of ISIS in Iraq, “IMPRESSIVE”, to say the least. In my opinion, ISIS militants have been steadily retreating from areas around MOSUL into the city center, since the battle first commenced on October 17, with a slow but steady advance by the ALLIANCE due to the usage of civilians as shields by ISIS. Therefore, the IRAQI elite Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS) has been adequately trained to take on ISIS street fighters at their own game that is an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth and a heart for a heart. However, as is evident from the outset, ISIS will resort to any and all measures necessary to preserve, protect and promote its empire including the usage of its own people as human shields. Therefore, the US-led ALLIANCE needs to be on heightened security alerts world wide as ISIS will look to find any and all possible retributory strikes, the most savage and barbarian possible, in an attempt to save face from a humiliating defeat of its MOSUL base.

Moving on to SYRIA, the latest SYRIAN army offensive that was launched in ALEPPO after a ceasefire collapsed is completely and utterly horrendous as ALEPPO is disintegrating before everybodies’ eyes, while the world is doing virtually nothing for the blood bath to subside, as all water has been cut-off or bombed to inflict intentional misery and suffering on the mass as the aerial bombardments are mainly blasting away on innocent ass. In regards to the onslaught that began early in the week by SYRIAN government troops in ALEPPO whereby more than 100 people have been killed across northern SYRIA and two additional hospitals bombed in ALEPPO such that only four of seven hospitals are still operating in the area, “DISGUSTING” best summarizes what has transpired this week. However, in my opinion, it is still in everyone’s best interests to recognize RUSSIA’s great military power beyond its region and to pressure RUSSIA to negotiate a ceasefire followed by some sort of power sharing arrangement with President Bashar al-Assad which is the only sustainable long-term solution for ALEPPO. Ultimately, it is because of this battle for ALEPPO that ISIS is able to survive, as ASSAD backed by RUSSIA cannot be displaced while the FSA backed by the U.S. appears to be a paradigm of hypocrite two faced leading to the annihilation of the entire ALEPPO race.

In summary, I refer to “World Peace Lennon Ivan Style – Part 221” as the belief that ISIS is evil such that the MOSUL victory is critical to ISIS decimation but ASSAD backed by RUSSIA cannot be displaced while the FSA backed by the U.S. appears to be a paradigm of hypocrite two faced leading to the annihilation of the entire ALEPPO race.

World Peace “Lennon Ivan Style” – Part 220

During the week ending on Sunday, November 13, 2016, TURKEY retreated from their aggressive siege of CIZRE, SILOPI, DIYARBAKIR and NUSAYBIN, predominantly KURDISH, which TURKEY had converted into a suburban war zone area as TURKEY was on the defense as they were subject to an internal military “Coup D’État” that failed as gunfire and explosions erupted in which 265 people died, 161 of them civilians, over one month ago. A wide scale purge led by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his governing AKP escalated further this week under the disguise of emergency rule as President Recep Tayyip Erdogan continued to purge his opposition by ordering the imprisonment of the editor of the daily CUMHURIYET along with a dozen of the newspaper’s leading journalists followed by the detention of lawmakers from the PRO-KURDISH Peoples’ Democratic Party (H.D.P.) including the party’s co-chairs, SELAHATTIN DEMIRTAS and FIGEN YUKSEKDAG. The official justification for the actions against both the newspaper and the H.D.P. leadership came in the form of terrorism charges. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s government claims that CUMHURIYET has ties to FETHULLAH GULEN, the TURKISH cleric who has lived in exile in Pennsylvania, USA since 1999 and that the newspaper was involved in the July failed “Coup D’État” attempt, which many TURKS believe FETHULLAH GULEN orchestrated. Meanwhile, the H.D.P. lawmakers have been accused of collusion with the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (P.K.K.), an armed KURDISH nationalist group that has fought the TURKISH government for decades. However, evidence for the charges against both the journalists and the lawmakers is questionable.

Moving on to IRAQ, IRAQI and US-led ALLIANCE forces have finally launched their offensive against ISIS on MOSUL. However, ISIS has sent the message to the world that it will do whatever it takes to defend MOSUL as ISIS has chosen the usage of its own people as human shields. However, this week, Iraqi Special Forces pushed deeper into MOSUL, despite heavy resistance from ISIS fighters who continued to use civilians as cover, while holding onto around six city neighbourhoods seized from ISIS in the last 10 days. The elite counter terrorism Service Forces broke through ISIS defense lines to enter MOSUL early last week but have since been caught in a brutal, close-quarter combat with waves of ISIS suicide bombers and snipers. The IRAQI Special Forces are the spearhead of a wider coalition of 100,000 fighters seeking to crush a few thousand ISIS Militants who have ruled MOSUL, the biggest city of the ISIS cross-border so called caliphate in Iraq and Syria for the last two years. The fighting is some of the most lethal ever seen in IRAQ with small groups of ISIS militants using a vast network of tunnels and narrow streets to launch an apparently endless sequence of attacks against troops. Although the territory taken by the IRAQI government still amounts to just a fraction of the sprawling city, which is divided into dozens of residential and industrial districts, home to over 2 million people before it was captured by ISIS in June of 2014, this represents an important symbolic victory. Nonetheless, IRAQI, KURDISH and ALLIED forces have still managed to advance on their push to retake MOSUL, ISIS's de facto capital in IRAQ where as many as 1.5 million people are believed to still remain.

Now, President elect Donald Trump has reaffirmed his campaign trail position that assisting the SYRIAN government in fighting ISIS should be the US main objective in SYRIA despite appeals from the Free Syrian Army (FSA) rebels for continued help in their fight against President Bashar al-Assad. Mr. Trump has also stated that while he did not like President Bashar al-Assad, shoring up his regime is the best way to stem the extremism that has flourished in the chaos of the civil war that also threatens the USA. Mr. Trump has also been emphatic about mending ties with Russia, Syria’s long-standing ally and military backer in the conflict and has stated that if the USA attacks President Bashar al-Assad, the USA indirectly ends up fighting with Russia.

In my opinion, the arrest of the joint leaders, SELAHATTIN DEMIRTAS and FIGEN YUKSEKDAG, of the PRO-KURDISH HDP party in Turkey for spreading propaganda for PKK militants fighting the TURKISH state is an attempt by the TURKISH government to eradicate democracy. Furthermore, the arrest of 13 journalists including the editor of CUMHURIYET for ties to FETHULLAH GULEN, the TURKISH cleric on the basis that the newspaper was involved in the July failed “Coup D’État” is an attempt by the TURKISH government to eradicate freedom of speech. As a friendly reminder, more than 100,000 people have been sacked or suspended and more than 40,000 arrested since the failed “Coup D’État”. In my opinion, TURKEY is clearly exercising an abuse of its judicial powers given that the evidence behind the charges against both the journalists and the lawmakers is questionable. That is, TURKEY is effectively twisting, turning and manipulation all of the underlying facts and circumstances against dissident journalists and lawmakers in a biased, racist, prejudicial and discriminatory fashion to ensure that the “GUILTY until proven innocent” verdicts are upheld. This type of behaviour by TURKEY is a clear violation of democratic civil rights and liberties in the spirit of silencing any and all opposition by doctoring evidence to make righteous innocent victims do time although they never ever committed any crimes.

Moving on to IRAQ, the recent successful attacks on ISIS by IRAQI security forces across several fronts across IRAQ, whereby IRAQI security forces have now launched a strike against ISIS in MOSUL, has clearly sent the message to ISIS that it is just a matter of time until the ISIS empire in MOSUL dies. In my opinion, the victories thus far by IRAQI led ground troops in MOSUL may just represent a fraction of the sprawling city but represent a huge symbolic victory as it demonstrates that IRAQI led forces are prepared to fight this war ISIS style of street-to-street or house-to-house. In regards to the elite counter terrorism Service Forces braking through ISIS defense lines to enter MOSUL in a brutal, close-quarter combat with waves of ISIS suicide bombers and snipers using a vast network of tunnels and narrow streets to launch an apparently endless sequence of attacks against troops, ISIS has no other viable options of defense other than savage blind side strikes street fight style. Therefore, the IRAQI Service Forces have been adequately trained to take on ISIS street fighters at their own game that is an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth and a heart for a heart.

In regards to President elect Donald Trump’s reaffirmation of his campaign trail position that assisting the SYRIAN government in fighting ISIS should be the US main objective in SYRIA despite appeals from the Free Syrian Army (FSA) rebels for continued help in their fight against President Bashar al-Assad, I do not believe that the USA needs to desert the FSA nor go head-to-head with the RUSSIANS but rather it is in everyone’s best interests to recognize RUSSIA’s great military power beyond its region and to negotiate a ceasefire followed by some sort of power sharing arrangement with President Bashar al-Assad which is the only sustainable long-term solution for ALEPPO. Ultimately, it is because of this battle for ALEPPO that ISIS is able to survive, as the FSA and ASSAD regime waste valuable time, money and energy fighting endlessly for entire pie while SYRIA rich enough to afford everyone satisfying slices rather than all parties choosing to die.

In summary, I refer to “World Peace Lennon Ivan Style – Part 220” as the belief that ISIS is evil such that the MOSUL victory is critical to ISIS decimation while FSA and ASSAD must cease endless battle for entire pie as SYRIA rich enough for all such that do not have to choose to die.

World Peace “Lennon Ivan Style” – Part 219

World Peace “Lennon Ivan Style” – Part 219

During the week ending on Sunday, November 6, 2016, TURKEY retreated from their aggressive siege of CIZRE, SILOPI, DIYARBAKIR and NUSAYBIN, predominantly KURDISH, which TURKEY had converted into a suburban war zone area as TURKEY was on the defense as they were subject to an internal military “Coup D’État” that failed as gunfire and explosions erupted in which 265 people died, 161 of them civilians, over one month ago. A wide scale purge led by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his governing AKP escalated further this week under the umbrella of emergency rule as the PRO-KURDISH HDP party in Turkey was shocked at the arrest of its joint leaders, SELAHATTIN DEMIRTAS and FIGEN YUKSEKDAG, accused of spreading propaganda for militants fighting the TURKISH state. They and 10 other HDP activists deny any links to the PKK KURDISH rebel group. In addition, Turkish authorities ordered the arrest pending trial of nine executives and journalists of a leading opposition newspaper, Cumhuriyet, over the newspaper's alleged support for a failed “Coup D’État” in July. The nine incarcerated include prominent names like the editor-in-chief MURAT SABUNCU, cartoonist MUSA KART and columnist KADRI GURSEL who were accused of committing crimes on behalf of KURDISH PKK militants and the network of FETHULLAH GULEN, a US-based cleric. Lastly, TURKEY imposed restrictions on access to multiple social media services including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, WhatsApp, Skype and Instagram, the first time nationwide restrictions have been detected on these popular applications in recent years. The incident is believed related to the detention of multiple leaders of the opposition political party HDP accompanied by raids of the HDP headquarters in TURKEY.

However, this week, IRAQI forces entered ISIS held MOSUL, for the first time in more than two years, in head-to-head battles with ISIS militants on the front lines. IRAQI troops stormed the neighbourhood of AL INTISAR in the east that has been the most significant breakthrough in the offensive that was launched two weeks ago to free MOSUL from ISIS brutal rule. IRAQI officials had warned that entering MOSUL would likely trigger the fiercest fighting yet and that the battle is expected to be fought street-to-street or even house-to-house. Although Iraqi Special Forces recaptured six districts of eastern MOSUL expanding the army's foothold in the ISIS bastion, ISIS leader and Godfather, “ABU BAKR AL-BAGHDADI told his ISIS followers that there could be no retreat and to fight until death.

Now, a RUSSIAN frigate armed with cruise missiles has passed through the BOSPHORUS on its way to the eastern Mediterranean representing a terrible development for the embattled SYRIAN city of ALEPPO. RUSSIAN President, VLADIMIR PUTIN warned the Free Syrian Army (FSA) rebels and civilians trapped in eastern ALEPPO to leave the city by Friday night when a temporary moratorium on air strikes expired. However, the FSA claims that promised safe passages out of besieged areas of ALEPPO did not exist as the deadline expired such that the FSA pushed on with an assault on loyalist ALEPPO, while residents seemed to be trembling in fear of resumption in RUSSIAN airstrikes.

In my opinion, MR. DEMIRTAS has won international support with his liberal politics and has distanced the HDP party sufficiently from the PKK albeit TURKISH claims to the contrary. Therefore, it appears to me that the TURKISH government is now applying the principal of, “Guilty By Same KURDISH Heritage, Until Proven Innocent” although it is obvious to the entire world that the KUDISH HDP is an independent and democratic political organization completely outside of the PKK organization. In regards to the nine incarcerated journalists accused of committing crimes on behalf of KURDISH PKK militants and the network of FETHULLAH GULEN, a US-based cleric, this in my opinion represents the crossing of a red line against the freedom of expression. In my opinion, the 13 staff from CUMHURIYET newspapers detained in Monday’s raids demonstrates that the TURKISH government has taken away all press freedoms in Turkey when the press speaks against the existing AKP regime. As a friendly reminder, more than 100,000 people have been sacked or suspended and more than 37,000 arrested since the failed “Coup D’État”. In regards to TURKEY imposing restrictions on access to multiple social media services including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, WhatsApp, Skype and Instagram, this in my opinion is a clear violation of one’s democratic right to the freedom of opinion and expression which further supports my point-of-view that TURKEY is on the verge of converting itself into a majority Fascist democratic regime as the mass seem to all be all on board the repression of the minorities ass.

In regards to ISIS leader and Godfather, “ABU BAKR AL-BAGHDADI telling his ISIS followers that there could be no retreat and to fight until death, in my opinion this will work in favour of the IRAQI forces as ISIS forces are currently spread too thin across IRAQ and SYRIA such that ISIS will have a difficult time retaining its territory in IRAQ, particularly on the outskirts of MOSUL. Therefore, the more ISIS troops taken out on the outskirts of MOSUL, the less ISIS troops available to defend the MOSUL city center. However, IRAQI forces will need to maintain their patience as this will likely be a prolonged dragged out civil war as ISIS has converted the battlefield into a streetfight door-to-door with human shield boobie traps all over the floors. However, as is evident from the outset, ISIS will resort to any and all measures necessary to preserve, protect and promote its empire including the usage of its own people as human shields. However, last week’s announcement by the FSA in Syria of a big offensive aimed at breaking the government siege of east ALEPPO whereby the FSA fired hundreds of missiles after a 10-day pause in aerial bombardments by RUSSIA angered the RUSSIANS who retaliated with a RUSSIAN frigate armed with cruise missiles passing through the BOSPHORUS as RUSSIAN President, VLADIMIR PUTIN warned the Free Syrian Army (FSA) rebels and civilians trapped in eastern ALEPPO to leave the city by Friday night when a temporary moratorium on air strikes expired. In my opinion, the RUSSIAN military power is too strong for the FSA to withstand as if a normal, rational and sane individual takes one look in the Mediterranean, one would conclude that the RUSSIANS have significant brass to kick some major ass. Therefore, in my opinion, it is not in the FSA’s best interests to go head-to-head with the RUSSIANS but rather it is in the FSA’s best interests to recognize RUSSIA’s great military power beyond its region and to negotiate a ceasefire followed by some sort of power sharing arrangement with President Bashar al-Assad which is the only sustainable long-term solution for ALEPPO. Ultimately, it is because of this battle for ALEPPO that ISIS is able to survive, as everybody seems to be flexing muscle, while innocent civilians for survival hustle, as a looming blood bath rustles with a RUSSIAN roulette style win all or lose all tussle.

In summary, I refer to “World Peace Lennon Ivan Style – Part 219” as the belief that ISIS is evil such that the MOSUL victory is critical to ISIS decimation albeit ISIS flexing muscle, while innocent civilians for survival hustle, as a looming blood bath rustles with a RUSSIAN roulette style win all or lose all tussle.
